After π day and Ides of March illustration I decided to help my drawing skills and continue life-long learning to start a science-focused #dailydatedoodle on my whiteboard above my objectives. One week in and I’m really happy that I’ve taken on this challenge, it has become a discussion piece in class. What it is also showing me is the need to rewrite women back into history, especially the history of science. Using common sources as Wikipedia and a few “on this day” websites I’ve found little mention of women in STEM related fields.
Examples of On this day resources I’ve used so far
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_22

A teacher friend just recommended this website to me to check out, will add this to the list!
