Looking back about 25 years ago when I took high school physics, it was THIS LAB that hooked me, and is the reason I teach today. That the idea that measurement and math can predict to the “future”. Tomorrow they must put a ring stand hoop 1/2 way from the landing spot and see if their calculations are right and they can predict the marble’s path.
